The Bet was designed to be the best option for beginners that want an advanced paddle that isn't a cheap Amazon or store bought paddle. The Bet is a non-thermoformed paddle with an extra long 6 inch handle designed with a 2 handed backhand in mind.
We wanted a control paddle with great spin, but not the lack of power. We eliminated this issue by narrowing the face, making the paddle a little more rigid and powerful. It feels like a 16mm paddle and a thermoformed paddle had a baby.

The Joker was designed to be our bolder paddle, with upgraded paddle technology and a design that stands out and makes a statement. The Joker is a gen 2 edge foam injected thermoformed hybrid paddle.
With this paddle, we wanted more power for easier put away shots and reset ability, while staying true to being a paddle for everyone. This paddle is an all court paddle with a 5.5 inch handle that doesn't favor any 1 style of grip. We also opted for the 4.125 inch grip so that it fits comfortably in more hands.

What paddles do we accept?
We accept any kind of paddle, in most conditions. Basically, if it is not broken in half or falling apart, we will take it.
We are mainly targeting players that have purchased their first paddle from Amazon, or a big box store not knowing what is what. Many times this can be an inexpensive paddle or something that doesn't perform well, but it was all they had at Target. That being said, we will accept all brands, big name or no name.
We know some of you are stuck with Joola Gen 3 paddles, so you can send those our way and we will give you an extra $10 off. JK.
If you aren't sure and don't feel comfortable purchasing before you know we will accept your paddle, send us a photo to info@pickleballpoker.com.
How do you know that people won't just buy your paddle and not send theirs in?
We don't really, but we trust our customers to be honest and help our cause. This program is to help grow the sport of pickleball and give the community access to high end, affordable equipment.
What if I want to return it?
Since you are purchasing a paddle from us, you are entitled to the same return policy as everyone else. Unfortunately, since your trade in paddle will be donated, we will not be able to return them to you, once you ship them to us.

Our goal with this program is not to get rich or really make money for that matter. We truly want to help the pickleball community grow and we want people to have real high end options for starter paddles.
